Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle form of body therapy that supports the body's innate ability to balance and restore itself, as well as helping to reduce stress and rebuild the underlying energy. It is a deep form of listening to the body that allows you to put yourself in calm and poise. The subtle dialogue between me and your body helps to reorganize the effects of physical and emotional life experiences and to nurture your body's innate resources. During or after a session, you may feel calm and full of energy, with more clarity and a sense of well-being.
Craniosacral therapy is not invasive. It uses light pressure on the head, neck and back to relieve the stress and pain caused by compression. A craniosacral therapist has the knowledge of the musculoskeletal system of the skull, its anatomy and its relationship to the flow of cerebral fluid (in technical jargon called cranio sacral fluid). The two poles, the skull (cranium) and the sacral bone (sacral) form a unit with the meninges and spinal cord membranes in which the cerebral fluid pulsates rhythmically. This removes "blockages" from the normal flow, which improves the body's healing ability.

What can you expect from a Craniosacral therapy treatment in my practice?
The client lies fully clothed on the treatment table and feels the light touch of the therapist's hands. There may be a deep sense of relaxation and possibly an awareness of heat, tingling, pulsing, or other sensations. Everyone’s experience is unique and a personal voyage of discovery, encouraging a greater degree of spaciousness, stillness and peace in their life.
